Our commitments, in plain English.
We'd rather commit to fewer things and mean them. Most of what's below is something a client has already described in a published review; the rest are facts you can verify yourself in about thirty seconds. There are no certification logos on this page, because we haven't got any to show you — Checkatrade and MyBuilder are places people leave reviews, not qualifications, and we won't dress them up as one.
A free quote, in writing, with no obligation
The site visit and the quote cost you nothing and commit you to nothing. You get the scope in writing — what's in, what isn't, and where the decisions sit — so you can compare us against someone else properly.

We turn up, including at short notice
If we say we'll be there, we're there. And if you're stuck — a contractor has walked off, a kitchen is half out, a house has to be ready for a tenant — ask us anyway.

One person is responsible
Matt prices the work, runs the site and hands it over. There's no project manager who's never seen the house and no subcontractor who wasn't told what was agreed.

We work tidily, in your house
Dust protection where it's needed, tools and materials off the floor at the end of the day, and the site cleared properly at handover — not left for you to deal with.

You'll be told about extra work before it happens
Older houses hide things. When something turns up behind a wall or under a floor, you hear about it the same day, with options and a cost — never for the first time on an invoice.

We're a real limited company with a trading history, not a mobile number and a magnetic door sign. Check us before you let anyone in.

One builder, the whole job
Matt prices the work, runs the site and hands it back to you. You're never passed between a salesperson, a project manager and a subcontractor who've never spoken to each other.
Common sense over the awkward bits
"He goes far beyond the expected with common sense and good humour." The parts of a job nobody planned for are the parts we're judged on, so we deal with them rather than issue a variation and walk off.

We'll work alongside your architect, kitchen or bathroom supplier and building control officer where a project has them — and point you towards the local merchants and designers we rate when it doesn't.
