A sink run under the window, in brass and stone

The detail shot of the kitchen above, and the part of the job that took the longest. The sink is undermounted into the worktop and centred on the middle light of the window, the brass bridge tap sits between the two, and a timber upstand runs behind the whole worktop to close the junction with the plaster.
Everything here had to be set out to the window rather than to the units — if the sink isn't centred on the glazing bars you see it every time you stand at it. The wall was made good and decorated after the worktop went in, and the blind and sill were left clear so the whole run reads as one line.
