A wet room in grey porcelain with a recessed niche
Kent & Sussex

Photograph: our own work
A full wet room: no tray, no step, the whole floor tiled and set to fall towards a central drain, and the room tanked before tiling so the waterproofing is behind the tile rather than relying on it. The overhead rain head and a separate handset run off a concealed mixer.
The WC is wall-hung on a boxed-in frame with a concealed cistern, which keeps the floor clear and makes the room easier to clean. A niche formed in the boxing gives somewhere to put things without a single fixing through the tanking, and the large-format grey porcelain is set out so the joints run through from wall to floor.
