Bathrooms punish shortcuts more than any other room. Water finds the one joint that wasn't sealed, a floor that flexes cracks the grout, and a shower tray laid without the right fall drains into the ceiling below instead of the trap. So most of the work is in the parts you'll never see: the falls, the tanking, the substrate and the first fix.
We refit existing bathrooms and shower rooms, build walk-in wet rooms, fit downstairs cloakrooms, and form entirely new bathrooms where there wasn't one before — a spare bedroom turned into a first-floor bathroom, for instance. The parts you don't see
Old suite and tiling stripped out, floors checked and stiffened or overboarded where they need it, and new hot, cold and waste runs set out for the layout you actually want rather than the one the old pipes dictate. Wet areas tanked with a proper liquid or sheet membrane before a single tile goes on, shower trays and formers set to fall, and extraction fitted and ducted out — not into the loft.
Tiling, fitting and making good
Large-format porcelain, patterned and encaustic-look tiles, mosaic and metro — set out so the cuts land where they're least visible. Suite, vanity, shower screens, towel rails and underfloor heating fitted and commissioned. Then silicone, decorating and making good, so the room is genuinely finished. Clients single out tidiness and being happy to answer questions, and that holds most for a bathroom, because it's the room you can't do without.
