The reason a small builder is worth having a number for isn't the big jobs — it's the day the gutter comes off, the flat roof lets go, the ceiling cracks after a leak, or a tenant moves out and a house needs putting right in a fortnight. Those jobs are too small for a main contractor and too varied for a single trade.
We take on general building maintenance and repairs for homeowners, landlords and letting agents across Pembury, Tunbridge Wells, Tonbridge and the surrounding villages. Short notice is fine and often the whole point: two of our reviews are specifically about stepping in at short notice, once to finish a kitchen and once to take on a paint job.
Repairs, inside and out
Brickwork repairs and repointing, render patching, lintels and cracked masonry. Guttering, fascias, soffits and downpipes, flat roof repairs and re-covers, and tile and slate replacement. Inside: plastering and plaster repairs after leaks, ceilings, carpentry and joinery, internal and external doors hung and adjusted, skirting, architrave and flooring, and full redecoration.

We'll tell you honestly whether something needs doing now, can wait a season, or wants a specialist we don't pretend to be. Landlords and agents get a single number for a mixed list of jobs rather than four trades to coordinate, and change-of-tenancy work gets scheduled around the void rather than around us.
