Kitchens fitted by a builder, so the awkward parts get sorted
Kitchen suppliers sell kitchens. What they mostly don't do is take out the old one, chase in the new circuits, move the waste, level a floor that's dropped 30mm across the room, and make good the plaster afterwards. That gap is where kitchen projects go wrong, and it's the part we're set up for.
We fit kitchens supplied by the customer, by a local showroom or by the big-box suppliers, and we'll fit our own recommendation if you'd rather we sourced it. "Matt stepped in at very short notice to remove my old kitchen and get the new kitchen up and running," as one Checkatrade review puts it — that kind of rescue job is something we do more of than you'd expect.
Everything that happens before the units go in
Careful strip-out and disposal of the old kitchen. Removing or re-forming walls where the layout needs it, with the right structural support. Moving sockets, switches, lighting circuits, gas and water where the new design puts them, and re-running waste with the fall it needs. Levelling and preparing floors so the units sit true and the worktop joints stay closed.
Fitting, worktops and the finish
Units set out and scribed to the room rather than to the drawing, appliances installed and tested, sinks, taps and extraction connected. Worktops templated and fitted — timber, laminate, or stone and quartz through a specialist fabricator. Then splashbacks and tiling, plaster made good, skirting and architrave replaced, and decorating, so you get a finished room back and not a fitted kitchen in an unfinished one.
